Here’s a story that makes my stomach turn thinking about it: voting machines not working correctly in 10 key swing states including Ohio and Florida. I really hope we don’t get a repeat of Ohio 2004… I will never forget that night. I had been keeping an eye on exit polls all afternoon at work and everything seemed to be pointing to a John Kerry victory. Later that night, during a break in the class I was taking, I overheard someone saying Bush had won?!? WTF? How could that be? Everything was looking really good, Kerry was winning almost every single exit poll?

The following year, Harper’s released a fantastic article about how Ohio was essentially stolen in 2004 and ultimately ended up costing Mr. Kerry his rightful spot as President.

Hearing that nothing much has been done to fix the electronic voting system makes my stomach sink… even though Obama has pulled ahead again in the polls (I think people are starting to come to their senses about McCain/Palin), I would not be surprised if somehow the Republican’s squeak out another victory in November relying on fraudulent electronic voting machines and outright lies about Obama/Biden.
