So we’ve had an interesting couple of weeks… Carter has been teething/sick/feverish for the past week, he’s finally starting to feel better. We had some big plans for Father’s Day but we ended staying home all day w/Carter being “velcro” baby. He woke up @ 3am screaming and the only way he would fall asleep was in our bed - that’s a first, he’s never slept in our bed before. Needless to say, we didn’t really sleep very much for the rest of the night… it was a long day.

The day continued w/Carter not wanting to be put down or left alone, not even for a moment. It was kind of cool to be with him constantly (literally) but we were both bagged by the end of the day - caring for sick child is tiring!

We also found out that Carter really likes to eat watermelon - REALLY likes it! He ate 4 huge pieces yesterday after dinner. Between eating dinner and then his huge dessert, Carter was scarfing back food for about an hour - he’s good like that. Slow and meticulous, that’s how I would describe his eating style.

After daycare today we hung out in the backyard waiting for Xtine to come home from work. Once she arrived home we had a snack - you guessed it… watermelon!
