I know it’s been a while since we posted anything but I’ve been wanting a big milestone, such as a first tooth or starting to crawl, but alas no such luck… Carter seems to go at his own pace, which a few months ago made me a bit anxious. I would think to myself, “Why isn’t he getting any teeth or crawling? Is he going to be a toothless human who can’t move??” But since then I’ve realized that Carter going at his own pace is a good thing because I’m pretty sure once he figures out how to move he’s going to be a thunderbolt. You should see how quickly he can kick his legs and how excited he gets! He’s spinning around a lot on his belly and rolling to get things he wants. He is also getting up on his knees and starting to sway back and forth so I don’t think crawling is too far away. Carter and I just finished his first swim lessons last week, which he really enjoyed, and we’re going to be going to the library for the next few weeks for a “baby storytime” session — should be fun!
